Pipe Dream
Pipe Dream is a puzzle-platformer in which the player controls a sole rain drop lost in a sewer. With a range of different puzzles and platform challenges to swim your way though, you'll need to utilize the droplet's abilities to help guide its escape and return to cleaner waters.

Level and Puzzle Design
Designed 3 engaging, puzzle-filled levels for a 2D puzzle-platformer game.
Built a tutorial level to teach players the controls and water mechanics.
Move, Jump, Swim, and Manipulate Water.
Developed each level to teach the player new ways to use their abilities via environmental clues and patterns.
Newly introduced ideas begin with simple solutions and are then expanded on throughout the level's various puzzles.
Used Unity Tilemaps to place sprites in the environment.Â
Difficulty
Ensured the challenge of the game was suitable for a wide range of player skill levels.
Conducted short playtests every week of development to gain player insight about the game's difficulty flow.
Accounted for player feedback and corrected errors in design either through unintended solutions or gameplay bugs.
Lighting
Implemented 2D lighting in Unity to work with the Tilemaps.
Used lighting for a variety of purposes.
Spotlights are used to light the environment and guide the player towards the end of each level.
Area lights are used to light up water to help the player see and to strengthen the environmental theme.
Teamwork
Collaborated with the artist to help visually represent the environment to support intuitive design.
Combined the underground theme with the water mechanics to design platforms, interactable environments, striking background graffiti, and more.
