Level Design
Designed 2 intricate library-themed levels for a 3D stealth game using Unity ProBuilder.
Created rough prototype designs on paper to convey ideas to the team before moving in-engine.
Used ProBuilder to whitebox each level and prototyped art assets.
Made consistent design choices to ease art and feature implementation.
Proto-art assets were carefully made to speed up programming pipeline.
Created a small playground-like test level to help programmers experiment with new features.
Final designs reflected a believable fantasy library setting for an immersive play experience.
Stealth Gameplay
Designed furniture to allow the player to use them to hide from the guards.
Guided the player during the escape phase with leading lines and natural boundaries.
Efficient Iteration
Due to the game's two-phase gameplay, each level had to have 2 slightly different versions.
Created a simple procedure for making quick changes to both versions of each level.
Worked with programmers to introduce developer cheats and design tools, which accelerated iterative development.
